Molly Edmunds

My name is Molly Edmunds, and I am proud to serve in the school clinic at Jefferson Middle School. My husband and I have lived in Jefferson for six years, and we have two children that attend JCS. My goal is to instill a sense of safety and assurance for you as parents while your children are at school each day. I have been a Nationally Registered Paramedic since I graduated from Gwinnett Technical College in 2012. I worked for Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service in Cobb County for the first four years of my career. This experience was invaluable in developing my knowledge of emergency medicine. Metro Atlanta serves as the 911 response service for a high-volume, multi-demographic area.

After my daughter was born in 2015, I transitioned to teaching EMS at Gwinnett Tech. I also spent a brief time working as the Region 10 Training Coordinator for the Department of Public Health under the State Office of EMS and Trauma. While I have enjoyed every new endeavor I have charted, I feel that I have found my calling in the school clinic here at JMS. I look forward to seeing your children each and every day. In what can sometimes prove a challenging time for adolescents, I will strive to provide every student with a sense of comfort and confidence.
