Mark your calendars!

Our in-person art show for ALL fall semester middle school art students is happening on Tuesday, December 3rd from 5:30-7:00pm in the Middle School cafeteria. We can't wait to see you there! But that's not all! Our virtual art show is LIVE! Click the link below to view JMS artwork!

A little about the show: JMS art students created amazing art pieces, which were sent to Artome. They've framed it beautifully! Parents and guardians have the option to purchase their child's framed work. Proceeds help fund art supplies for our school.

Any artwork ordered online can be picked up at our in-person show on December 3rd.

Thank you for supporting the arts!

Welcome to Jefferson Middle School!

Dear JMS Parents and Students,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am Carol Ann Knight, and I am incredibly honored and excited to be the principal at Jefferson Middle School.

JMS boasts a rich tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics. Our dedicated and outstanding faculty and staff are committed to providing a year of engaging, meaningful and rigorous curriculum that will challenge and inspire our students.

We understand that middle school is a time of significant transition. Students are becoming more independent, taking on new responsibilities, and exploring their unique interests and talents. While they are on this exciting journey of self-discovery, strong parent partnerships are essential in ensuring their success. Together, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment where each and every student feels empowered to develop their strengths and reach their full potential.

Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, I extend a warm welcome. We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school community where everyone feels valued and respected.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. My door is always open, and I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the year.

Here's to a successful and rewarding 2024-2025 school year!

Sincerely,

Carol Ann Knight
