The TAG-ED WEBChallenge is the premier middle school web design contest in Georgia with over 100 entries each year. Over the last 13 years, they have given out over $230,000 in scholarships to winners. All finalists will have their website hosted and displayed on the How Stuff Works website.
The winners were announced at the Atlanta Science Festival Exploration Expo on Saturday, March 26th.
This year students were given the task of creating a future, science-based technology solution to a problem facing us. This group chose to focus on dwindling power resources, and they came up with the idea of entangled pair batteries using current theoretical quantum mechanics.
